Cuisine to rival Europe’s best Michelin-starred restaurants.

Just as our ships bring the world to your window each morning, so our stunning restaurants bring you the globe’s finest cuisine every time you dine. Naturally, there is a choice of restaurants to suit your every mood, including the only two prestigious Le Cordon Bleu establishments at sea, on board Mariner and Voyager.

Le Cordon Bleu

The origin of the expression “Cordon Bleu” comes from the 1578 foundation of the Order of Knights of the Holy Spirit. The members of the order wore a medal suspended on a blue ribbon and their spectacular feasts became legendary. The expression “Cordon Bleu” was then later applied to mean an outstanding Chef.

Founded in Paris in 1895, today the presence of Le Cordon Bleu encompasses 22 international schools in 12 countries. Its success was such that after 1945, it was the only school in France accredited by the United States for professional re-training of American soldiers under the GI Bill. In 1954, Audrey Hepburn came to Le Cordon Bleu Paris for the launch of her film Sabrina.

The majority of Master Chefs of Le Cordon Bleu come from Michelin-starred restaurants or are winners of prestigious competitions. This is reflected in the finesse and delicacy of the gourmet cuisine which has become synonymous with Le Cordon Bleu.

For the true gourmet, a chef’s degustation menu complements the a la carte, whilst an extensive range of healthy eating options are perfect for the diet conscious. Equally, those who believe the finest ingredients should be prepared and served without artifice will find the ultimate expression of this philosophy in our simplicity menus.

Inspired dishes are accompanied by hand-selected complimentary fine wines, served in sparkling crystal glasses – or you may indulge yourself by exploring the exceptional vintages from a superbly stocked cellar.

For the most romantic evenings or simply evenings of quiet seclusion, you may choose to dine in the privacy of your own suite, where 24-hour room service is at hand to attend to your every need and whim. Dinner will be served course by course with complimentary wines, soft drinks, bottled water, tea and coffee.

If you have chosen a suite that has the benefits of a Personal Butler, you can be sure he will add a little style to any occasion – be it serving your morning breakfast or a gourmet dinner in your suite. Regent Seven Seas butlers are all members of the Guild of Professional English Butlers and as such you can expect from them the ultimate in privacy, attention to detail and refinement.
